Supplement improves IBS symptoms
Beta-glucan, inositol and digestive enzymes improve quality of life of patients with inflammatory bowel disease and irritable bowel syndrome.
Combination therapy not isolated
We explored how a mixture of beta-glucan, inositol, and digestive enzymes could alleviate gastrointestinal symptoms in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and concurrent irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

The study involved 43 patients who were already in clinical remission and treated only with mesalamine. They were divided into two groups: one received the usual treatment plus the supplement, while the other only received the standard care.

After four weeks, we observed notable improvements in symptoms such as bloating, flatulence, and abdominal pain in the group taking the supplement. Our findings suggest that this combination may significantly enhance the overall well-being of IBD-IBS patients, making their daily lives a bit easier.

Inositol helps some IBS symptoms
Effect of beta-glucan, inositol and digestive enzymes in GI symptoms of patients with IBS.
Evaluates combined treatment impact
We investigated the potential benefits of a combination treatment involving beta-glucan, inositol, and digestive enzymes known as Biointo, aimed at relieving symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In this study, 50 IBS patients received Biointo, while another group of 40 patients did not receive any treatment. Our primary goal was to see if this mixture could alleviate common IBS symptoms like bloating, flatulence, and abdominal pain.

Our findings revealed that patients who took Biointo experienced notable improvements in bloating, flatulence, and abdominal pain. However, we also observed a slight increase in urgency for bowel movements, which suggests some complexity in how these treatments affect IBS symptoms. Unfortunately, the mixture did not show significant improvements for all symptoms associated with IBS, revealing that more research is needed in understanding the full effects of inositol the way it is used in this blend.

While Biointo does provide some relief for specific IBS-related symptoms, the extent of its effectiveness varies. This study illustrates that while inositol plays a role in the treatment of IBS, it is not a miracle solution and its impact may not be universally experienced among IBS patients. Many patients still seek effective management options as IBS can significantly disrupt daily life.

Weight loss noted
I will purchase this product again! My digestion and bowel function have improved, and I've lost weight since taking it on an empty stomach, one or two daily. L-theanine, a unique amino acid in green tea, lowers anxiety and cortisol levels, thereby enhancing sleep quality. It's noted as beneficial in anti-aging and for calmness. I feel significantly less stressed and have lost weight, along with taking butyrate and EGCG preparations.

Irritability experienced
This product made me very irritable over the month I took it. Instead of relaxing me, it left me feeling stimulated, causing easy anger. I stopped using it and am buying GABA.
